Job Description:

Virtual Building Studio is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented
BIM MEP Engineer
to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) models
using advanced
BIM processes
. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to transform 2D CAD drawings into fully coordinated 3D BIM models, ensuring precision and compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage accurate MEP models using BIM software (Revit preferred)
  • Convert CAD drawings into intelligent BIM models (CAD to BIM workflow)
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for clash detection and resolution
  • Ensure models adhere to client specifications and industry standards
  • Participate in design and model reviews

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
  • 1–5 years of experience in BIM MEP modeling
  • Proven experience in
    CAD to BIM
    conversion
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction documentation

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with international BIM standards (e.g., LOD, COBie)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
