Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer who will be responsible for designing and developing Special Purpose Machines, Automation, Robotics, and Assembly systems. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in SolidWorks, strong knowledge of pneumatics, and experience in costing and BOM or 2D documentation. As a Mechanical Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' unique requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop Special Purpose Machines, Automation, Robotics, and Assembly systems using SolidWorks software.
  2. Collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
  3. Utilize your expertise in pneumatics to design efficient and reliable pneumatic systems for automation applications.
  4. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and BOMs for manufacturing and assembly.
  5. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed designs.
  6. Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
  7. Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly phases.
  8. Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and components for the projects.
  9. Continuously research and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Special Purpose Machines, Automation, Robotics, and Assembly.

Candidate:
  1. Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer in the field of Special Purpose Machines, Automation, Robotics, and Assembly.
  3. Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant design software.
  4. Strong knowledge and experience in pneumatics, including the design of pneumatic systems for automation.
  5. Experience in costing and preparing detailed BOMs for projects.
  6. Ability to create accurate 2D documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  10. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to Special Purpose Machines and Automation is a plus.
  11. Willing to travel to client sites within and outside India (on a need basis)
