You will be a vital member of the security team as an Industrial Security Guard, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the industrial site. Your role will involve monitoring activities, preventing unauthorized access, responding to incidents, and safeguarding personnel, property, and assets in a dynamic industrial environment. - Continuously monitor the premises using CCTV systems, conduct security patrols, and inspect entry and exit points. - Control access to ensure only authorized personnel, vehicles, and equipment enter or exit the site. - Respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies, managing incidents to minimize disruption. - Conduct regular physical patrols around the site, checking buildings, equipment, and vehicles for irregularities. - Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, incident reports, and security logs. - Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. - Write detailed reports on security-related incidents and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed. To excel in this role, you should have: - Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. - Strong knowledge of security operations, safety procedures, and emergency response protocols. - Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure. - Good physical fitness and excellent communication skills. - Attention to detail, observational skills, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening. - Flexibility to work day shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred qualifications include certification in industrial security or related fields (e.g., OSHA, CPR, First Aid) and experience with surveillance systems, security equipment, and alarm systems.
