Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Data Discovery Manager with 8+ years in data security and architecture to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data discovery and classification initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise with Thales CipherTrust and BigID, and a strong track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving data protection programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of data discovery, classification, and protection frameworks.
  • Oversee the deployment and optimization of Thales CipherTrust and BigID solutions.
  • Define and enforce data governance and security policies in alignment with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Collaborate with CISO, data governance, and IT stakeholders to align data security strategy with business objectives.
  • Manage a team of engineers and analysts, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
  • Conduct risk assessments and remediation planning for sensitive data exposure.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in data security, privacy, or enterprise architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Thales CipherTrust, BigID, and related data discovery tools.
  • Proven leadership experience managing security programs and technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of data privacy regulations and cloud data security practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
