About the Role

We are seeking a Microsoft Purview certified / Azure Architect to design, architect, and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions at the client location. The role involves deploying Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MIP DLP) solutions, ensuring sensitive data discovery, classification, protection, and governance across the clients digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Architecture: Architect end-to-end MIP DLP solutions tailored to client requirements.

  • Data Discovery & Classification:

  • Scan across data sources to discover and classify sensitive information, including data at rest on file shares and data in use within applications like Exchange and Teams.

  • Data Protection:

  • Protect data on corporate and employee-owned devices, including the ability to remotely wipe enterprise data.

  • Secure enterprise applications while allowing personal apps to operate without disruption.

  • Enable labeling and protection of container files (.zip, .msg, .eml) as needed.

  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP):

  • Identify sensitive data moving across services and endpoints.

  • Define and enforce actions such as blocking, alerting, or warning users about inappropriate data sharing.

  • Cross-Platform Protection: Extend data visibility and protection to hybrid environments, third-party cloud platforms, and non-Microsoft cloud apps.

  • AI Integration: Prevent sensitive data from being used in Generative AI tools; implement Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 integrations where applicable.
  • Governance and Compliance: Apply data protection policies across the clients data estate to ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Purview certification or equivalent expertise.
  • Strong experience in Azure architecture and implementing DLP solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), DLP, and data governance.
  • Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work onsite with clients and deliver projects within stipulated timelines.
