Role Overview

As a 
Solution Architect / Presales Specialist
, you'll be the technical front-face of Zaptoz, engaging with enterprise customers to understand their business challenges and designing modern cloud-native, modernization, and AI solutions that deliver impact.

You'll work closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to shape solution strategies, craft compelling proposals, and guide customers on their digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with enterprise prospects to understand business goals, technical requirements, and current IT environments
  • Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using 
    AWS
    , modern architectures, and AI services
  • Own the solution narrative in proposals, and client presentations
  • Conduct technical workshops, demos, and proof-of-concepts
  • Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure seamless handover and execution
  • Stay up to date on AWS offerings, modernization patterns, and emerging tech (GenAI, data lakes, containers, serverless, etc.)
  • Help build reusable solution templates and accelerators

Must-Have Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in 
    cloud architecture, presales
    , or 
    solution consulting
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of 
    AWS services
     (compute, storage, networking, security, AI/ML, analytics)
  • Proven experience in 
    application modernization
     (re-platforming, re-architecting, containerization)
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts, use cases, and tools
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities – both technical and business-facing
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have

  • AWS Solution Architect Certification (Associate/Professional)
  • Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK), or CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working with BFSI, Retail, or SaaS customers
  • Prior experience in a startup, or partner ecosystem.
