Role & responsibilities

  • Direct Issue of drugs/ medical consumable to Patient
  • Issue of Narcotics as per protocols
  • Receiving the material at Receiving Bay & Processing of Invoices
  • Emergency Cash Purchase
  • Receipt of consignment goods & Processing their Invoices on Consumption
  • Physical Stock Verification
  • Sale & return of material in OP Pharmacy
  • Drug Expiry control and checking expires of medicine before dispensing to patients
  • Maintain inventories at the levels set by the management ensuring that there are no overstocking or stock outs.
  • Establish Reorder levels for all stocked goods. Take timely action to ensure that no goods expire without being detected and returned to the vendors. Also, raise for purchase requisitions in time so to ensure timely receipt of material.
  • Complete the receipt of material as per the terms and conditions of the Purchase Orders.
  • Process all bills for the material received in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain stocks of all consignment items; maintain records of their receipt, issue, consumption details and processing of bills.
  • Organize physical stock verification in all stores at the stipulated time periods to ensure that HIS inventory is equal to physical inventories.
  • Assume responsibility for the overall management of inventories of OP Pharmacy.
  • Place order with respective supplier & conduct periodic follow-up for fast delivery of the items.
  • Generate MIS reports about the performance of the department and communicate to the management regarding the same.
  • Formulate and implement departmental standard operating protocols, policies and procedures.

Min 3-5 year in relevant field
