Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Tailor Assistant to support our lead fashion designer in creating detailed Aari embroidery designs and custom gowns. You'll assist in fittings, design execution, and detailed handwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in stitching custom gowns, lehengas, and blouses as per design sketches.
  • Support with Aari embroidery preparation, tracing designs, and handling embroidery materials.
  • Take accurate measurements and support client fittings and alterations.
  • Coordinate fabric selection, thread, and embellishment materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with the head designer and team to meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Basic tailoring knowledge and handwork skills required.
  • Experience or interest in Aari embroidery and bridal wear is preferred.
  • Ability to work with delicate fabrics and detailed patterns.
  • Good teamwork and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Patience, precision, and a passion for fashion design.
