Job Description:

As a Shift Incharge for Ferro-Alloy Operations, you'll oversee and direct all activities during your shift, ensuring smooth and efficient production, adhering to quality standards, and managing personnel and resources effectively. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:
    • Understand and execute the shift operation plan, ensuring adherence to production targets and schedules.
    • Monitor and control the ferro-alloy production process, identifying and resolving any issues or deviations.
    • Ensure efficient utilization of resources, including raw materials, equipment, and manpower.
    • Maintain accurate records of production data and process parameters.
    • Maximize productivity of machinery and workers.



  • Quality Control:
    • Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the shift, ensuring product specifications are met.
    • Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify and address any quality issues.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations.



  • Personnel Management:
    • Supervise and direct the work of shift personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
    • Evaluate performance and provide feedback to team members.



  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel, adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
    • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and near misses.



  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality data, and safety incidents.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant documentation requirements.



  • Problem Solving:
    • Identify and resolve operational issues and problems effectively.
    • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of problems.
    • Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.



  • Other Duties:
    • Participate in training and development activities.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
