Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer (Azure) with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud services, CI/CD automation, and containerized deployments. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps pipelines and infrastructure automation using industry best practices and modern toolsets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM templates.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Configure and deploy Helm charts and YAML manifests for Kubernetes environments.
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, with basic scripting knowledge in Bash or Python.
  • Manage version control and code integration using Git and branching strategies.
  • Support the integration of Azure-based databases such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance, and troubleshoot issues in development, staging, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline the DevOps lifecycle and improve system reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and architecture.
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD tools, and automated deployment strategies.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Helm.
  • Experience in writing and managing Terraform scripts and ARM templates for IaC.
  • Scripting proficiency in PowerShell; familiarity with Bash or Python is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.
  • Experience working with databases such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, etc.)
  • Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices.
