Technical Skills & Responsibilities

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including end-to-end CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and/or Bash.

  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, custom templates, or Terraform.

  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

  • Implement, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable software delivery.

  • Define and implement deployment strategies and release management processes in collaboration with Dev and Ops teams.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and uninterrupted delivery.

  • Experience in URL whitelisting, certificate management, and Azure certificate setup on Azure DevOps platform.

  • Stay current with industry trends and Azure DevOps best practices to continuously enhance system performance and reliability.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across multi-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Azure services: Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage.

  • Experience with version control using Azure Git and advanced branching strategies.

  • Knowledge of build automation tools like Maven or Gradle.

  • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools: Azure Monitor, ELK Stack, or equivalent.

  • Proven experience in issue troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and coordinating with cross-functional or vendor teams (including Azure support).
