THBS is looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud integration for IoT Edge solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Azure IoT Services, and Linux-based deployments, with a focus on building reliable, secure, and scalable automation workflows to support IoT Edge and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes for IoT Edge modules and cloud services.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Integrate with Azure IoT Hub, Azure Functions, and related services to enable continuous delivery of edge and cloud components.
  • Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and minimal deployment downtime.
  • Implement automated testing workflows (unit, integration, and performance) within the DevOps pipeline to maintain quality across all releases.
  • Manage Linux-based edge deployments, including configuration, containerization, and deployment troubleshooting.
  • Ensure security and compliance in CI/CD pipelines by implementing best practices for credential management, code scanning, and access control.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to validate deployment strategies, cloud configurations, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain observability by integrating monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics) within the pipeline.

  • Build, configure, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for code integration, automated builds, and multi-environment deployments.
  • Ensure smooth release processes with rollback and recovery mechanisms.
  • Use IaC (Infrastructure as Code) for provisioning and managing Azure resources.
  • Maintain consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Work closely with developers and QA to ensure automated test coverage within pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate edge and cloud workflows securely.
  • Continuously improve pipeline speed, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance dashboards for all deployed services.
  • Enforce secure coding and deployment practices using Azure Key Vault, access controls, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Conduct periodic audits and implement remediation for security gaps.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging DevOps tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Drive automation and operational excellence across all aspects of the delivery lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD as complementary automation tools.
  • Knowledge of Azure Security Center, Key Vault, and Azure Policy for secure DevOps practices.
