Zeno is seeking a
Software Product Manager
to lead product vision, strategy and roadmap in alignment with Zeno's overall energy and mobility offerings.

About Zeno

An unprecedented energy transition has begun. To meet 2040 net zero goals, over 2 billion electric two-wheelers (motorcycles) must be sold and $11 trillion in fuel consumption replaced. Zeno is building a tech platform to electrify this two-wheeler market, currently responsible for more than 4% of the world's GHG emissions. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition and democratize the benefits across Africa, India, and Latin America. With a focus on East Africa as a starting point, Zeno is building a new energy ecosystem with ground-up development of a fundamentally better electric motorcycle and associated battery swap network to drive a better experience for our customers.

The Role

Zeno is seeking a
Software Product Manager
to lead product vision, strategy and roadmap in alignment with Zeno's overall energy and mobility offerings. All of Zeno's products are tied together via software components: embedded systems for vehicles, batteries and swap stations, mobile and web applications for customers and operations, and cloud services that bridge between them. This role will work alongside engineering, finance and validation leaders to plot the course for new applications and improvements to existing services. The ideal candidate has several years of product management experience, understanding of software development processes, and a good familiarity with energy and transportation businesses. We expect our product managers to work hand–in-hand with almost every other cross-functional group at Zeno.

What You'll Do

• Define and communicate product
  vision
  ,
  strategy
  , and
  roadmap
  for Zeno software.
• Partner closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to
  prioritize features and improvements
  .
• Translate customer needs, Zeno business objectives, and technical constraints into
  clear product requirements
  and
  user stories
  .
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to
  inform product decisions
  .
• Monitor
  and
  own
  the performance and success of released software products ensuring they are meeting customer and organization needs.
• Define success metrics
  and track product performance against KPIs.
• Track and report on
  quality metrics
  , using data-driven insights to improve product reliability.
• Coordinate product launches
  , working with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure smooth delivery and adoption.
• Act as the
  voice of the customer
  throughout the product lifecycle.

What You Bring

• 3–7 years of experience
  in
  product management
  , program management, or a related role.
• 4+ years
  of experience testing
  cloud backend and/or mobile applications
  .
• Strong understanding of the
  software
  and
  hardware development lifecycles
  .
• Ability to
  translate technical concepts
  into business value and vice versa.
• Excellent communication
  and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven
  ability to gather and synthesize feedback
  from customers and internal teams.
• Data-driven mindset
  with experience defining metrics and using analytics to inform decisions.
• Experience bringing a product from concept to launch and iterating based on customer feedback.

Good to Have

• Prior experience in the
  energy or transportation industry
  .
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar product/project management systems.
