Role Overview

Comapny is seeking a highly capable and experienced Real Estate Lawyer (5–6 years) with strong expertise in Bangalore property documentation processes. The selected candidate will lead legal documentation functions, manage a legal coordination team, interact directly with clients, and ensure smooth execution of all property-related procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Documentation

  • Handle end-to-end Khata applications, transfers & related documentation
  • Draft, vet & finalize Sale Deeds/Agreements and supporting legal documents
  • Conduct comprehensive Title Verification & issue legal opinions
  • Oversee registration processes at sub-registrar offices
  • Manage BESCOM transfer & new connection documentation

Team Leadership

  • Lead & manage a team of in-house lawyers and runner/field executives
  • Allocate work, monitor progress & ensure timely closure of cases
  • Provide legal guidance and supervision
  • Maintain operational discipline across field documentation processes

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Manage client relationships and provide end-to-end support
  • Communicate and update clients on process status regularly
  • Liaise with BBMP, BESCOM, sub-registrar office and other government bodies
  • Resolve escalations and complex issues

Compliance & Record Management

  • Maintain properly organized documentation and legal records
  • Ensure compliance with applicable property laws and regulations
  • Prepare internal reports and updates for management review

Required Skills & Experience

  • LLB mandatory (additional certifications preferred)
  • 5–6 years of experience in Bangalore property legal processes
  • Proven experience in:
    • Khata
    • Sale Deed
    • Registration
    • BESCOM processes
    • Title Verification
  • Experience handling a legal team / field team
  • Strong drafting, negotiation & client-handling skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple cases efficiently
