Role Description

This is an on-site, contract role for a Lawyer located in Bengaluru. The main responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating property-related legal documents and contracts. The Lawyer will ensure compliance with applicable property laws and regulations, manage legal risk, resolve property disputes, and provide legal advice and strategies to support the company's operations. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions and maintain legal documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and contracts related to property law.
  • Extensive knowledge of property, real estate laws, and regulations, as well as compliance and risk management expertise.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing legal documentation and timelines.
  • Ability to provide strategic legal advice tailored to the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and relevant professional licensure to practice as a Lawyer in India.
  • Experience in real estate, land acquisition, or a related sector is advantageous.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and adherence to global legal and professional standards.
