Internal Communications Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Support local internal communications:

  • Develop and execute internal communication plans tailored to the India region.

  • Partner with local HR, business leaders and site teams to drive employee engagement and awareness of key initiatives.

  • Coordinate and support local events, campaigns and announcements.

  • Contribute to global communications programs:

  • Collaborate with global communications leads on enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Adapt global messaging for local relevance and ensure timely delivery across appropriate channels.

  • Content creation and editing:

  • Draft, edit and proofread internal communications content including emails, newsletters, intranet posts and presentations.

  • Ensure clarity, consistency and alignment with brand tone and messaging guidelines.

  • Channel management:

  • Help manage internal communication channels such as intranet, email newsletters, digital signage and collaboration platforms.

  • Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements.

  • Collaboration and alignment:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including HR, IT, Facilities and Operations to gather content and align messaging.

  • Ensure all communications are aligned with the broader internal communications strategy and brand voice.

  • Project support:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal campaigns and initiatives.

  • Provide logistical and content support for town halls, leadership messages and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications:

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in internal or corporate communications, preferably in a global or regional role.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Familiarity with internal communication tools and platforms from the Microsoft suite (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Yammer).
  • A proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented mindset.
