Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Business Development Manager based in Chennai. The role involves identifying and acquiring new clients, building and nurturing relationships with startups and mid-market businesses, and understanding their financial needs to propose customized solutions. The individual will oversee client engagement throughout the credit rating advisory and capital-raising processes, ensuring client satisfaction. Additionally, the role includes collaborating with internal teams, conducting market research, and helping drive revenue growth through innovative business strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development and relationship management skills to acquire and retain clients
  • Knowledge and experience in financial services, credit rating advisory, and capital-raising processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in market research and strategic analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt strategies to meet business objectives
  • Familiarity with financial products such as long-term and short-term ratings, NCDs, and commercial papers is advantageous
  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field preferred
