Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts and Finance Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee financial transactions, accounting processes, and assist in financial reporting to ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  2. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions (Invoicing, collection, subscription on credit cards.)

  3. Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly.

  4. Prepare and post journal entries and monthly accruals.

  5. Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.

  6. Financial Reporting:

  7. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  8. Monitor and analyse financial performance and variances.

  9. Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement.

  10. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  11. Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.

  12. Provide financial analysis to support business decision-making.

  13. Tax Compliance:

  14. Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

  15. Prepare documentation for audits.

  16. Preparing and filing annual tax returns (CT600) for businesses to ensure they pay the right amount of tax on their profits.

  17. Advising businesses on tax-efficient strategies, including capital allowances, transfer pricing, and group relief.

  18. Preparing quarterly or annual VAT returns, ensuring businesses charge the correct VAT rate and comply with UK VAT law.

  19. Advising individuals and businesses on the sale or disposal of assets to minimize capital gains tax

  20. Addressing cross-border tax issues for multinational corporations, including transfer pricing and double tax treaties.

5. Internal Controls:

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal financial controls.

  • Ensure financial transactions are properly authorized and documented.

  • Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

  • Assist with financial audits and tax returns.

  • Support other departments with finance-related queries.

Qualifications And Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (B. Com, BBA, MBA)

  • Minimum of 1 - 4 years of experience in accounting and finance roles with oversee client.

  • Experience in accounts receivable and payable.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Bookkeeping, Cash flow Management,

US Tax, reconciliation, Budgeting and forecasting.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as a part of team.
