Head - Recycling Business | Waaree Group | MumbaiRoles & ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the business strategy; identify new markets, innovations, and expansion paths. Lead recycling operations for solar panels, batteries, and glass; ensure high recovery efficiency and technical excellence. Drive P&L, EBITDA, budgeting, funding, and profitability.
Ensure strict compliance with recycling regulations; align business with ESG and sustainability goals. Forge strategic alliances with OEMs, technology providers, government bodies, and key partners. Build and inspire a high-performing team; foster innovation, accountability, and excellence.
Experience & QualificationBachelor's in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Business; MBA preferred.22 years leadership, including 5 years in e-waste recycling, industrial waste management, or renewable energy recycling. Strong track record of scaling operations, managing P&L, and leading business growth. Expertise in recycling technologies (mechanical, chemical, thermal) for PV modules, batteries, and glass.
Strong understanding of materials recovery (silicon, silver, copper, aluminum) and hazardous waste management. Familiarity with ESG frameworks, sustainability metrics, and circular economy principles. Deep knowledge of local and international recycling regulations and compliance standards.
Experience engaging with government and regulatory bodies is highly desirable. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and partnership-building skills.
