Job Description/ Responsibilities
- Supervision of installation, testing, and Alignment of Main
Propulsion system, auxiliaries and Accessories of equipment
(e.g., Main Engines, Gear Box, Thruster, CPP propulsion System,
Steering & Rudder) - Good and deep knowledge of Vessel Drawing.
- Planning and scheduling.
- Conduct inspections & Installation on shipboard equipment as
per OEM standards. - Collaborate with shipyard teams, classification societies, and
clients to resolve technical issues. - Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance records, and
documentation. - Monitor, coordinate, and manage the required reports and
required documentation submittals for each Equipment. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maritime
regulations during all service activities. - Facilitate daily morning meetings with Superintendent,
Supervisors, QA, and Safety to ensure that all aspects of the
project are being planned and executed in a safe and productive
manner. - Travel to vessel locations (shipyards, ports, offshore) as
required.
