Job Overview
Spandana Hospital is seeking a Medical Gastroenterologist for a mid-level position in Bangalore. This role offers full-time and part-time employment options, and candidates should have a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The role requires expertise in gastrointestinal diagnostics and treatment procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP is mandatory for this role and should be considered essential experience.
- Proficiency in clinical diagnosis to accurately identify and treat gastrointestinal illnesses is required.
- Ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs while ensuring thorough follow-up.
- Adept at conducting patient assessments to gather comprehensive medical histories pertinent to gastrointestinal health.
- Experience in performing capsule endoscopy to offer non-invasive insights into patient conditions is necessary.
- Skilled in conducting liver biopsies to gather critical information for diagnosis and management of liver diseases.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with patients, explaining conditions and treatments clearly.
- Commitment to continuous learning to stay updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories to diagnose and develop appropriate treatment programs.
- Manage outpatients and inpatients with a range of gastrointestinal disorders, providing high-quality care.
