OPES Healthcare is specialized in following verticals of pharmaceutical formulation segment: 1. Contract manufacturing & contract research of finished pharmaceutical formulations (Prescription and OTC Range) under customers brand name. 2. In/Out-licensing of finished pharmaceutical products 3. Marketing & distributions under OPESs brand/customer brand name.

Role & responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and develop suppliers for raw materials (APIs, excipients), packaging materials, and consumables.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Ensure procurement is as per cGMP, FDA, and company standards.
  • Maintain Approved Vendor List (AVL) and ensure vendor qualification with QA/QC.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders in ERP system.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Production, Stores, and Planning departments.
  • Ensure timely procurement to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
  • Track delivery schedules and expedite orders when required.
  • Ensure all purchase activities comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, agreements, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Support statutory requirements related to GST, import/export regulations, and vendor payments.
  • Analyze market trends to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Implement vendor rating and performance monitoring.
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance, Stores, Production, and Finance for smooth procurement processes.
