Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Ahmedabad. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement process for materials and services, maintaining supply chain relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of products. The role involves sourcing new suppliers, managing inventories, and collaborating with the production and quality control teams to align purchasing activities with company needs and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience in supplier sourcing and supply chain management
- Procurement and inventory management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the manufacturing or steel production industry preferred
