Job Title:Sales Head
Location: Shivaji nagar Pune
Department: Sales
Reports To: Sales Director
Sales Development:
Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales goals.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Client Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to effectively communicate the value proposition.
Address client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Sales Execution:
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts, ensuring all client requirements are met.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to close sales and achieve profitability targets.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities.
Account Management:
Manage and grow existing accounts by providing exceptional service and support.
- Monitor account performance and provide recommendations for improvements or upselling opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account status.
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to management.
- Track sales metrics and analyze performance to adjust strategies and improve results.
Prepare and present forecasts and sales plans to achieve targets.
Product Knowledge and Training:
Stay informed about company products, services, and industry developments.
- Attend training sessions and industry events to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Educate clients on product benefits and features to effectively address their needs.
Market and Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and services to provide accurate information and recommendations
Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, preferably in a field-based.
Skills:
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Sales And Business Developments.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and techniques.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel within the assigned territory to meet clients and attend sales meetings.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed to achieve sales goals.
