Job Title: Service Engineer – Heavy Machinery

Location: Ghana / South Africa

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience: 2–5 Years (Preferably in Construction Equipment, Earthmoving Machinery, or Heavy Equipment Service)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Ghana / South Africa. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy construction machinery and equipment at customer sites, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, cranes, and other construction equipment.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Coordinate with the technical and parts team for timely repair and replacement of components.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and operators on machine operation and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure all service activities comply with safety standards and company policies.
  • Participate in field visits and provide on-site support for breakdowns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and report customer feedback to the service head.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and engine mechanics.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and service software.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in field conditions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
