We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team in the All Day Dining department, with 4-8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and kitchen management.
*Roles and Responsibility*
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in food preparation and plating.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
