Senior Technical Analyst – IndiaCharts

Overview

IndiaCharts is looking for an experienced Technical Analyst with strong expertise in market analysis, charting, and trend forecasting. This role goes beyond traditional technical research, requiring a professional who can also engage with media, create content, contribute to product innovation, and collaborate with the technology team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of interpreting complex market movements, generating actionable insights, and effectively communicating them across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Conduct in-depth technical analysis of financial markets and provide actionable insights.

•⁠ ⁠Represent IndiaCharts in media interactions, delivering expert views on market trends.

•⁠ ⁠Generate fresh content ideas and create videos using Strike (proprietary tool) for audience engagement.

•⁠ ⁠Host webinars to share market outlooks, strategies, and technical insights with clients and subscribers.

•⁠ ⁠Contribute new product feature ideas to enhance the IndiaCharts platform and user experience.

•⁠ ⁠Write technical research reports and market notes when required, ensuring clarity and depth of analysis.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with the tech development team to explain and refine feature requirements, ensuring successful implementation and go-live.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Technical Analyst in financial markets.

•⁠ ⁠Strong command of charting techniques, Elliott Wave, pattern recognition, and other advanced methodologies.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and presentation skills for media, webinars, and client interactions.

•⁠ ⁠Experience in creating digital financial content (videos, webinars, or courses).

•⁠ ⁠Proven ability to translate market data into clear, actionable strategies.

•⁠ ⁠Creative mindset with product innovation capability.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborative and proactive approach to working with research, content, and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Technical Analysis and Analytical Skills
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting experience
• Strong Communication skills
• Proficiency in using market analysis tools and software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field or PGDBM/MBA in Finance
• Experience in the stock market or financial industry is a plus
• Advanced certifications in technical analysis or finance are advantages but not necessary
