Seeking a dynamic Food Product Manager passionate about grain-based fitness products.
Key responsibilities include leading product development with grains and alternative sweeteners, conducting market research, applying agile methodologies, driving product customization, and ensuring quality. The role involves hands-on leadership, fostering supplier relationships, and mentoring team members. Ideal for someone adept at agile management and consumer-focused innovation.
Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy: Lead the strategic planning and roadmap development for new and existing grain-based fitness products, aligning with market trends, consumer needs, and company objectives.
End-to-End Product Development: Spearhead the entire product development process for grain-based innovations, including:
Ingredient Expertise: Deep dive into grains, ancient grains, and alternative sweeteners to formulate nutritious and delicious products that meet specific dietary and fitness goals.
Recipe & Process Optimization: Collaborate with R&D and production teams to refine formulations, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure scalability.
Market Research & Consumer Insight: Conduct comprehensive market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and consumer research (surveys, focus groups, trend analysis) to identify unmet needs and inform product decisions.
Agile Product Management: Apply agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to manage product development sprints, prioritize features, iterate rapidly, and ensure efficient project delivery.
Product Customization & Innovation: Drive initiatives for product customization and continuous innovation, responding to evolving consumer preferences and market demands for functional ingredients and diverse flavor profiles.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all products meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, regulatory compliance (e.g., FSSAI), and nutritional claims.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Foster strong collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Production teams to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing success.
Actively manage and foster robust relationships with key suppliers of grains, sweeteners, and other ingredients to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and innovation.
Team Mentorship & Development: Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior product team members, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
