Job Summary:
As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end procurement activities
for automation components, electrical panels, and project-based requirements. This role
demands a strategic mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and in-depth knowledge of industrial
procurement to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers for automation components (PLCs, HMIs,
VFDs, electrical panels, wiring, etc.).
- Negotiate terms of purchase, pricing, payment terms, delivery, and service support
agreements.
- Forecast demand and maintain minimum inventory levels to support ongoing and upcoming
projects.
- Raise and process purchase orders using internal ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with requirements.
- Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to understand technical specifications and
lead times.
- Ensure timely delivery and track shipments to avoid project delays.
- Conduct vendor evaluations and audits periodically to ensure supply chain reliability and
compliance.
- Maintain cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost reduction without
compromising quality.
- Handle import procurement (if applicable) and manage relevant documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce.
- 5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement in an industrial automation or electrical
panel manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of automation products (VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, cables, relays, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, procurement software, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of supply chain and inventory management concepts.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a project-driven environment.
Preferred:
- Experience working with reputed brands like Siemens, Schneider, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.
- Knowledge of import processes and logistics coordination.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
