Role Description
Role Proficiency:

Act creatively to develop applications by selecting appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. Account for others' developmental activities; assisting Project Manager in day to day project execution.

Outcomes

• Interpret the application feature and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
• Code debug test document and communicate product component and feature development stages.
• Validate results with user representatives integrating and commissions the overall solution.

• 8+ years of experience in designing, developing & customizing e-commerce solutions using HCL Commerce platform v9.1.x Strong working knowledge in Member, Promotion, Order, Catalog & Marketing subsystems. Strong working knowledge on implementing secured & scalable RESTful APIs - both enabling inbound APIs & integrating with external systems Strong knowledge in designing & coding using Java programming language with best practices & design patterns. Hands-on experience in customizing HCL-C data models through JPA Strong experience on using DB2 database, writing & understanding complex SQLs Working knowledge in implementing & supporting Dataload, Stage-prop, Workspaces & Scheduler jobs Conduct code reviews, unit testing and performance tuning to deliver high quality & scalable solutions using HCL Commerce platform Preferred Skills Hands-on experience in Service Management tools like Service Now, JIRA; Code Repository like Bitbuket, Github; Observability tools like Grafana, New Relic or Spunk; CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions Good communication skills to collaborate with business analysists, architects, and other stakeholders for gathering requirements & translate them to technical design & tasks Preferred experience in Groovy & Linux Shell scripting Preferred hands-on experience in handling cloud resources on Azure or AWS Preferred hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes & OpenShift
