Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager with an FMCG background to lead our dairy company's sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong distribution networks, managing key accounts, and ensuring that our dairy products achieve maximum market penetration and visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Expand market presence in urban and rural territories for dairy products.
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities and channels.
Distribution & Channel Management
- Strengthen distributor and dealer networks to ensure product availability.
- Monitor stock movement, sales forecasting, and timely supply chain coordination.
- Ensure effective secondary sales and retail penetration.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and drive accountability.
- Motivate and mentor sales staff to achieve consistent results.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms to maximize profitability.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address escalations quickly.
Market Intelligence & Competition Tracking
- Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activities.
- Provide insights on pricing, consumer trends, and promotional strategies.
- Recommend new product development opportunities based on market needs.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, trade practices, and compliance guidelines.
- Monitor collections and credit management effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.
- 2-4 years of proven FMCG sales experience (dairy/F&B preferred).
- Strong network of distributors, retailers, and trade partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to travel extensively for market development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹11, ₹30,000.00 per month
