Application Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Design
  • Define and document scalable architecture for enterprise-grade applications using Java and AWS.
  • Lead the design of microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across projects.
• Technical Leadership
  • Guide development teams in implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and code audits.
  • Mentor engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence.
• Cloud Strategy & Implementation
  • Design and implement AWS-based solutions including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud governance and security standards.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience architecting solutions on AWS.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
