Founded in 1986, Sungov Engineering designs and manufactures engineered equipment and systems for filtration, separation, and heat transfer applications across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Environmental industries.

Sungov is now looking to build an internal AI-based Proposal Engineering system using Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT's CustomGPT to streamline technical bid preparation, project specification compliance mapping, cost estimation workflows.

We are inviting engineering graduates (0-3 years experience) who are detail-oriented and tech-curious to join our Proposal Engineering team. This role blends engineering fundamentals with hands-on real world AI use cases.

Responsibilities:

Proposal Engineering

  • Review RFQs for mechanical/process systems and extract technical and commercial data.
  • Support preparation of competitive proposals in compliance with client specs.
  • Develop BOMs/BOQs, perform preliminary cost breakdowns, and maintain deviation lists.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Costing functions to meet submission deadlines.

AI / GPT Model Training

  • Catalog and label historical proposal data for Sungovs custom GPT training.
  • Create and refine prompts for technical Q&A and document summarization.
  • Evaluate GPT outputs, mark deviations, and provide structured feedback.

Desired Profile:

  • Education: B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Experience: 0-3 years (Fresh graduates and early-career engineers welcome).
