Job Description – Production Manager

Position: Production Manager

Department: Production

Location: Ground Floor, Production Department

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily morning meetings with team members and attend HOD meetings.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor daily/weekly/monthly production schedules.
  • Ensure 100% achievement of monthly production targets.
  • Maintain records, reports, and documentation in Busy software and Google Sheets.
  • Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for timely raw material procurement.
  • Supervise contract workers and supervisors, manage attendance, and maintain discipline.
  • Oversee machine utilization, preventive maintenance, and quality control.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and barcoding of materials and tools.
  • Prepare and present monthly production reports during Management Review Meetings (MRM).

Authority & Powers:

  • Appoint and manage contract labor in coordination with HR.
  • Negotiate and finalize vendor rates and work contracts.
  • Approve gate passes and minor emergency expenses (up to ₹2,000).
  • Evaluate subordinates' performance and issue general remarks.
  • Appoint service contractors for electrical, plumbing, or machinery maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
