Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly disciplined, strategic, and operations-focused professional to lead our Waste Management Plant. This role is ideal for a Retired Navy Officer with strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams, operations, logistics, and compliance. The Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in line with environmental and government standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall operations of the waste management plant including waste collection, segregation, processing, and disposal.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental laws, pollution control norms, and local regulations.
  • Supervise plant staff and contractors, ensuring discipline, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage logistics, maintenance schedules, and equipment uptime.
  • Monitor plant performance metrics and implement improvements for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Coordinate with government authorities, local bodies, and stakeholders as needed.
  • Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and inventory for smooth day-to-day functioning.
  • Oversee emergency response plans and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report regularly to management on plant performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Preferred Profile:

  • Retired Navy Officer (Commander/Captain rank or equivalent) or other senior ex-defence personnel.
  • Experience in operations, logistics, engineering, or plant/machinery management.
  • Strong leadership, administrative, and crisis management skills.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Excellent communication and team-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage labor, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Technically inclined and comfortable working in an industrial setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50, ₹65,000.00 per month
