Job Summary

Responsible for 
production planning, inventory control, and material coordination
 to ensure timely delivery of footwear products. The role focuses on optimizing resources and schedules while working closely with 
purchase, stores, manufacturing, R&D, and new product development teams
. The position demands strong planning skills to manage 
multiple products, large SKU portfolios, and diverse raw materials

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute 
    daily/weekly production plans
     aligned with sales forecasts and delivery timelines.
  • Carry out 
    inventory control
     to maintain optimum stock of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Coordinate with 
    Production
    , 
    purchase, stores, R&D, and new product development teams
     for smooth execution of ongoing and new product launches.
  • Plan and monitor raw material usage across 
    diverse product lines
    .
  • Ensure production schedules are met while achieving 
    KPI metrics and operational targets
    .
  • Drive continuous improvement in 
    planning, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration
    .

Qualifications

  • Education:
     B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Polymer Engineering with a strong academic record.

Experience

  • 0–5 years
     of experience in a manufacturing organization.
  • Exposure to 
    FMCG / Fashion industry
     preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in 
    production planning, inventory control, and raw material planning
    .
  • Familiarity with managing 
    large SKU portfolios
     in high-paced environments.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in 
    Microsoft Excel
     for data-driven planning and analysis.
  • Working knowledge of 
    ERP systems (SAP preferred)
     will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
