Sourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new and used vehicles, as well as essential automotive parts and accessories, to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet sales demands.
- Develop and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with dealerships, auctions, private sellers, and parts suppliers.
- Conduct ongoing market research to understand industry trends, vehicle values, and consumer preferences to inform sourcing decisions and identify new acquisition opportunities.
- Negotiate purchase prices and terms with sellers and suppliers to secure the best value while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring a balanced and diverse stock of vehicles and parts that aligns with dealership goals and minimizes carrying costs.
- Collaborate with the sales department to align sourcing strategies with sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the dealership.
- Establish processes to ensure the quality of sourced vehicles and parts, adhering to dealership and industry standards.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with dealership policies, local and national regulations, and prepare reports for senior management on sourcing performance, cost savings, and market insights.
