Job Summary:

The Head of E-commerce is a strategic leadership role responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and execution of Uplyift's online business. This role involves leading all digital channels, including website operations, digital marketing, customer experience, P&L management and fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in e-commerce, a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth, and deep knowledge of platforms like Shopify and Magento.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership across multiple e-commerce platforms (Flipkart, Amazon, Shopify).
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with category managers to develop product roadmaps, optimize pricing strategies, and streamline inventory management processes.
  • Analyze financial performance using P&L statements and KPIs to inform data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure effective branding consistency across all digital channels through strategic marketing planning.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 8-13 years of experience in ecommerce development, business development, catalog management, strategic marketing planning, PNL management, category management, brand management.
  • Candidates ready to join immediately or within 15 days are preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams on e-commerce platforms like Flipkart or Amazon.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles including ads optimization techniques for maximum ROI.
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Candidate with ability to build and manage sales through company own website is preferred as Amazon and Flipkart are secondary medium of online sales.
