Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Business Development (Bidding) to lead government tendering, proposal management, and business expansion activities. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to GIS, e-Governance, or IT solutions, along with proven experience in managing end-to-end bidding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development initiatives in the GIS / IT / e-Governance sector.
- Create and implement business strategies and outreach plans.
- Manage the complete tendering cycle including proposal development, documentation, and submission.
- Build and manage teams across Pre-Sales, Bidding, and Customer Success.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances.
- Maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders and PSU clients.
- Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to ensure proposal accuracy and client satisfaction.
- Track market trends, tender opportunities, and competition activities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of GIS / e-Governance / IT solutions.
- Proven success in government tender bidding and project acquisition.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Leadership experience with strong team management skills.
- Strong analytical and documentation capabilities.
