Role & responsibilities

To be responsible for RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for facilitating the efficient and safe handling of RORO cargo operations within the terminal. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing operational efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction and terminal productivity.

RORO Operations Management

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of RORO vessels, ensuring timely and safe operations.

Safety Compliance

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Ensure accurate documentation for all RORO operations, including vessel manifests, cargo manifests, and equipment checklists.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with shipping lines, port authorities, and other stakeholders to coordinate RORO schedules and operational requirements.

Equipment Handling

  • Operate terminal equipment as needed (e.g., forklifts, tugs, and trailers) following safety protocols and guidelines.

Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce turnaround times.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate in any discipline with 6 to 10 years relevant experience.
