Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on expertise in S/4HANA, HANA, and SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR). The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in dynamic project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP solutions across SAP modules.
  • Develop and optimize complex reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and workflows (RICEFW).
  • Work on ABAP on HANA including CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, and performance tuning.
  • Contribute to S/4HANA migration and implementation projects.
  • Develop and support SAP CAR solutions (POSDTA, Transaction Processing, Inventory Visibility).
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and unit testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of SAP ABAP Development experience.
  • Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, OData).
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA and SAP CAR development.
  • Proficiency in Core ABAP (ALV, BADI, BAPI, Enhancements, SmartForms, IDocs, etc.).
  • Experience with Fiori/UI5 integration is a plus.
  • Excellent debugging and performance tuning skills.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Certification in ABAP or S/4HANA (optional but desirable).
  • Experience in Retail or Consumer Goods domain is an advantage.
