What you'll do

As a Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of SAP S/4HANA Business Partner solutions, delivering high business value to our customers and partners.

In your day-to-day activities, you will:

• Assessing and resolving issues in both new and existing code, with meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency.
• Collaborating closely with your team members to ensure project success.
• Ensure end-to-end ownership of features, from design and development till deployment.
• Write clean, well-tested code, and work closely with Line of Business (LoB) teams as part of a Scrum Team.
• Work closely with scrum team to understand the feature requirement
• Build the automation approach, decompose the use cases to test scripts and test cases
• Automate test cases. Most of them need to be automated using keeping in mind the scenario coverage.
• Maintain the regression automation and constantly enhance automated test framework.
• Contribute to our Business Partner backlogs for upcoming releases, shaping our product to meet customer needs and effectively supporting existing customers.
• Your role will be pivotal in delivering robust solutions and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

What you bring

• Strong communication skills both written and spoken in English.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Experience in ABAP/ABAP OO, CDS views and Fiori applications
• Hands-on experience in test automation tools like TOSCA, START, Jenkins
• Excellent collaboration and team building skills across different functional roles and locations.
• Excellent functional knowledge in master data domain
• Experience in AI technologies is a plus.

Education and Experience

• BE/B. Tech/ME/M. Tech/MCA
• 4 - 9 years of ABAP and FIORI skills development experience developing production grade software
• Proven ability to work in a distributed setup
• Good understanding of the agile and lean software development process
• Self-motivated, self-driven, curious, open minded, resourceful, and flexible with the ability to learn quickly

S/4HANA Cloud Foundation is at the centre of S/4HANA Cloud development accelerating innovation delivery. We empower people to develop, run, and consume SAP's Intelligent Enterprise in the Cloud. The S/4HANA Core Master Data team in the Cloud Foundation area is under the Intelligent Enterprise Group board area to help customers in their journey to becoming Intelligent Enterprises. This team is responsible for driving SAP's Master Data Management offerings.The Core Master Data Development team is responsible for the new generation Master Data applications within SAP S/4HANA and works on the newest development methodologies including UI5, Fiori Elements, CDS, RESTful ABAP, and AI.We are looking for a talented, goal oriented, and proactive team player with excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills coupled with a willingness to take initiative and effectively apply the knowledge gained towards the accomplishment of project/program goals, to join our highly motivated team working in a fast-paced technical environment.
