Role & responsibilities

  • Preparation, checking, and review of GADs and detailed structural drawings for major and minor FOBs, Deck, Station Buildings, Quarters Bldgs. and other structures.
  • Performing structural design and analysis of substructures and superstructures as per Indian Railway and IRC codes.
  • Coordination with Architect, MEP and other services for finalization of RCC and steel structure designs.
  • Preparation of Design Basis Reports (DBR) and design calculation sheets for approval.
  • Resolving site-related design queries and providing necessary design modifications or clarifications.
  • Coordinating with MRVC, PMC, and site teams for drawing approvals and issue management.
  • Conducting design review meetings and preparing MOM/action plans.
  • Supporting the construction team with technical support and structural feasibility inputs during execution.

Preferred candidate profile

  • M.Tech in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of specific experience in structural design for railway projects.
