Genrobotics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our Research and Development team. The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and final delivery of complex robotics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget,and to the required technical specifications. This role requires a strong blend of technical acumen in robotics and proven project management expertise, especially in a fast-paced, R&D-driven environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation (human and financial), and technical milestones.
  • Execution Management: Oversee the day-to-day execution of the project lifecycle, from conceptual design and prototyping through development, testing, and final deployment or handover.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Software, AI/ML) to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, senior management, and external clients or vendors, providing regular project status updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  •  Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and resource risks. Facilitate rapid problem-solving and issue resolution to prevent project delays.
  • Budget & Resource Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, manage resource utilization, and ensure the cost-effective delivery of the solution.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all project deliverables adhere to engineering quality standards, internal protocols, and relevant industry safety regulations (especially critical for sanitation and medical applications).
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and engineering workflows, adopting best practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to optimize efficiency. 

Skills Required : 

  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree minimum in a core engineering field (Mechanical Engineering/Electrical/Electronics Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering /Robotics Engineering).
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Good to have Project Management Professional (PMP),Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent certification

Experience  : 

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in project management, specifically within the robotics, automation, or a closely related highly technical engineering sector.
  • Prior project management or technical experience in one or more of the following specialized robotics domains:Sanitation Robots, Medical/Healthcare Robots,Humanoid or Service Robots.
