Job Description: Project Management Intern

Location: Thiruvananthapuram or Kozhikode, Kerala

Type: Internship (Full-Time)

Duration: 3-6 months with potential for full-time conversion based on performance

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as an Associate Project Management Intern. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or final-year student who has completed foundational project management education and is eager to gain practical experience in a software development environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our project management team to support planning, coordination, and execution of various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress
  • Help maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
  • Support team communication by facilitating meetings and ensuring follow-up on action items
  • Learn and apply project management methodologies under guidance
  • Assist in identifying project risks and issues
  • Help coordinate between technical teams and stakeholders
  • Support resource allocation and timeline management activities

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or final-year student in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • Completion of a recognized project management course (PMP preparation course, CAPM, or equivalent university certification)
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in project management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication abilities
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar)
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Previous internship experience in a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Location & Relocation Details:

  • For the Thiruvananthapuram location: Company-provided accommodation is available
  • For the Kozhikode location: The intern is responsible for their own accommodation or commute
