Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Recruiter to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 46 years of strong experience in leadership and lateral hiring, particularly for application development projects, and must be capable of closing immediate hiring mandates. A solid understanding of technology stacks and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential for success in this role.

Note: Candidates must be available for full-day virtual weekend drives every Saturday and attend face-to-face interviews during the selection process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT roles with a focus on application development and technology hiring.
  • Drive lateral and leadership hiring across development, engineering, and delivery teams.
  • Prioritize and close roles requiring immediate joiners, adhering to aggressive timelines.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and project requirements.
  • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates based on technical and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and manage face-to-face interviews and in-office recruitment activities.
  • Support full-day virtual hiring drives every Saturday, ensuring smooth execution and closures.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future requirements.
  • Leverage understanding of technology roles, tools, and SDLC processes to better evaluate candidates.

Key Requirements:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in IT recruitment (corporate or consultancy).
  • Proven success in immediate hiring, especially in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong experience in lateral and leadership hiring for application development projects (Java, .NET, Full Stack, Cloud, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of software development methodologies, project lifecycles, and technical skill sets.
  • Proficiency in using job portals (e.g., Naukri, Monster), LinkedIn Recruiter, and ATS tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to work every Saturday to support virtual drives.
  • Must be available for and comfortable with face-to-face interviews as part of the hiring process.
