Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and talented Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of server-side development and is eager to contribute to the entire software development lifecycle. You will work closely with our development team to build and maintain the core logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior developer to grow their skills in a professional and supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
• Assist in the design and implementation of database schemas that support business processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Contribute to code reviews and team meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language such as , Python (Django/Flask), Java, or Go.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms like JWT or OAuth.
