About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Backend Developer with 1–2.5 years of experience to join our growing Intellypod company. You will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and databases that power our applications. This role is ideal for someone with solid coding skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for queries, optimization, and schema design.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues in existing applications.
  • Follow best coding practices and participate in code reviews.
  • Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend systems.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and contribute ideas for improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 1–2.5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Python, Java, , Go, PHP, etc.).
  • Experience with backend frameworks (Django, Flask, Spring Boot, , etc.).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API development (GraphQL is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Git and version control.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodology.

Good to Have :

  • Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) .
  • Knowledge of microservices concepts.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
