We have urgent opening for AM - Warehousing Operations with one of our well known client in Mumbai.

Role & responsibilities

Role Purpose:

Ensure smooth warehouse operations including inbound, storage, order processing, and outbound activities while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and compliance with safety and customer SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations for assigned accounts.
  • Manage inbound, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
  • Plan and monitor manpower, shift scheduling, and productivity targets.
  • Coordinate with transport and customer service teams for on-time dispatches.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety norms, and quality standards.
  • Review daily MIS reports and implement process improvements.
  • Interface with customers for operational updates and issue resolution.
  • Track operational costs and identify areas for efficiency improvement.
  • Lead and train warehouse executives, associates, and contractual staff.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of WMS, SAP systems
  • Experience managing 3PL and multi-client warehouse setups
  • Sound understanding of safety, compliance, and audit processes
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI preferred)
  • Leadership and team management capability

Experience & Qualification:

  • Graduate / MBA / Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • 58 years of experience in warehousing operations (3PL, FMCG, or industrial sectors)

Industry Preference:

Candidates with experience in Chemical or Automobile industry operations will be preferred.
