Job Overview

CM Specialist would be required to deploy TRs to production. They would be responsible for syncing test and production environments. They should have a thorough understanding of all the VMTs and production servers for all the counties. They should document the IP addresses and deployment process for all the counties. They should gain an understanding of Property Tax process. CM Specialist would be required to get a thorough understanding of various modules and the overall architecture of Capture. They would also sometimes need to do a code review before deploying changes to production. They would also be required to interact with technical support to provide internal support on technical matters. CM Specialist would be required to document their design/modifications etc. in a prescribed format. They would have to acquire necessary skills in any new technology when required. They are also required to have good understanding of .Net, Javascript, SQL, TFS, C#, React etc.

CM Specialist would also be required to track TR deliveries and ensure that the TRs are deployed to production on time. They would also be required to guide developers with Configuration Management related issues. They would also need to train new team members when a new members join.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deploy Trouble Reports (TR) to production before Upload dates mentioned on the TRs in the CRM tool.
  • Must have 3 years of experience as C.M.
  • Ensure the test and production environments are in sync.
  • When performing tasks, coordinate with the others in the development team and guide them on configuration management issues.
  • Participate in Development meetings.
  • Handle on-demand items based on priority.
  • Should be able to setup servers whenever required.
  • Should be able to refresh Capture Database on demand.
  • Learn new tools and technologies as and when required.
  • Create and manage deployment documentation.
  • Train new members in configuration management.
